Flyer set #4001 from 1940 was spotted pulling into the platforms on the back straight a few days ago:



Rare outing for a classic set.

Another Sears house, this from 1932... The Maplewood :

A few minor changes (chimney, window arrangements, etc.), but basically as drawn. The roofline on that front entryway was a challenge.

Having passed a slow Lionel freight, it's seen headed south, clearing Bridge #305 to approach Heat Pump Pass.

Found this little 248 on a train list recently; refurbished by an "artist" some time ago, it needs some work:
