Our Buyers' Guides promote only ONE line of HO trains, the Hawthorne Village Limited Edition Sports Team Trains. If you're a sports fan, or trying to find a Father's Day present for someone who is, consider a train that includes custom graphics celebrating your team.
In case you wondered, these run on the same track as all other Hawthorne Village trains, Bachmann On30 trains, and Bachmann HO trains. They will also run on 99.9% of all HO railroads. So getting your railroad "in the mood" for game day has never been easier. In addition, all Hathorne Village trains have a 365-day "satisfaction guarantee" from Collectibles Today and a lifetime mechanical warranty from Bachmann, one of the largest model train builders in the world.
Most teams are still available, but they are limited editions, so we can't guarantee that your team will still be here if you wait too long.

If you have enjoyed the cardboard building projects Howard Lamey has been providing, you should really enjoy the Halloween projects we hope to roll out in the next several issues. If you keep up, you could have a complete Halloween Village display by October, with a few simple projects and very little expense. Other Christmas and non-holiday projects are in the pipeline as well. Tell your friends. :-)
We are also looking for more projects that would appeal to the "serious" On30 or O-gauge modeler as well (hint, hint), so stay tuned.
Keep in Touch
We are continually getting more interest in this newsletter, in the site, and in the trains we discuss. We welcome your questions as indicators of what we should be working on next (also, we always try to answer reader questions quickly). In addition, if you have any photos, tips, or articles you'd like to share with your fellow hobbyists, please let us know. The hobby grows best when we all learn together.
In the meantime, have a great spring!
