That PRR 0-6-0 was one of my favorite locos of that period.

Nothing sexist about Lionel's advertising, was there? They were just as bad in the 1980s, when our daughters were little, just not as blatant.

If your father was lucky enough to have a job in the 1930's and had the cash to spend, it must have been a great time to be alive as a kid. I can only imagine what it would have been like to receive a standard gauge train set at the holidays...my goodness!
