This set was featured in a past auction @ serioustoyz.com
It was a low priced line made by Lionel and is hard to find in such great shape with the box

Tinplate isn't rusted, boxes aren't half-rotted. Are you sure this is an original set?
Love the colors.

Oh yes, it was barely touched and yes there was some minor rust not evident in the picture. I believe it was old storestock that had been forgotten--and as I recall, it went for a small fortune at the auction.
