Lesney Models of Yesteryear

Lesney made a few "Matchbox" train models during their run. They were simply diecast representations of various locomotives and/or rolling stock, primarily British prototypes. This one, a model of the Great Western's "Duke of Connaught" came out of the Models of Yesteryear range:
A locomotive designed and built by the GWR's Swindon shops, this little model remains up on my shelf, some fifty years after I received it as a gift one Christmas.
