Paul, love the 803 ore-car-looking hopper. that's one I don't see very often. Nice collection.

The 803, 653 and 2653 are pretty cool...they actually work (theoretically, if not practically). There's a door on the bottom that opens and closes with the wheel on the side. If you fill it up with Lionel coal and open the door it will run out...you usually have to jiggle it a few times to get it to keep emptying. Lionel put alot of play-value in this stuff...pretty amazing for the 1920's/1930's...

I'm starting to collect some prewar Flyer now...they have some pieces that are very nice too, but a bit more primitive.

I'll post some more pic's when I have time...hopefully some other folks put some stuff up.
