OUR TRAIN SET IS NOT WORKING IT WAS RUNNING BUT SOMETHING HAPPEN AND IT WILL NOT RUN. WE HAVE PURCHASE THE TRAIN SET SOME TIME AGO FROM A FREIND. I can be reached thru e-mail.
Thanks for getting in touch. Do you know what brand your train is? If it's a major brand, I can tell you who to call about repairs.

The number on package for the train is 020902 & 020615 Hawthorne Village.
The engine was dropped by my granddaughter by accident the main grill in front is broken tires went back on. Would like to order just the engine is that possible. I have all other trains and asseroires including villages.
Thanks for your help.
We're getting closer. Some of the Hawthorne Village trains were made by Bachmann, who is still in business and may be able to sell you a replacement locomotive.
In the package there should be a certificate that says what "collection" your train is part of.
It will say "Thomas Kinkade," or "New York Jets" or something.
If you DON'T have the paperwork, tell me what is painted on the locomotive. It might be wolves, or a sports team or Coca Cola, etc.
Once I know for sure which train you have, I'll be in better shape to tell you how to get your
locomotive replaced or fixed.

Thomas Kinkade, I think its the caboose that is not working. We have the power unit 020815 Spectrum Magnum it this able to pull 12 cars.
The power supply will pull a pretty good train. I don't know if it will pull 12 cars, but is should pull six or eight easily. If it's not pulling at all, it could be a problem with the power supply or with the locomotive.
On the picture at the top of the page below, the first piece is the Locomotive itself. It should run even if there is nothing else on the track. The second piece is the tender, or coal car. The caboose isn't shown in any of the photos on this page, as it is a fairly rare piece.http://bigchristmastrains.com/hawthorne ... _train.htm
The mechanical part of the locomotive was made by Bachmann. It's mechanically identical to their On30 trains. They can get you any parts they need and they may be able to tell you if you need to send it in for service. Their Phone # is: 800-356-3910
In the worst case, if you send the locomotive in, they will repair or replace it for $55.
Their web page describing that is at:http://www.bachmanntrains.com/home-usa/service.php
Hope this helps - Paul
