Coupler Question from the UK

A reader in the UK writes:

Can you supply any replacement couplings?
I notice these couplings are held in place with a small star shaped screw that holds in place the carriage coupling.
I have two carriages with a coupling.

To answer your question, most Hawthorne Village trains were made by Bachmann, who is one of the world's largest model train companies. ANY hobby shop that sells HO will probably have the coupler you need - the coupler is the same as many Bachmann OH couplers need.
