A reasonably nice Flyer 3008 found recently: These are tough to find in nice shape. Flyer paint of this era doesn't seem to hold up very well, especially the lighter colors. Paul II |

A Flyer 3208, one of the last variations of the prewar 1/4" O-gauge box car. This introduced link-couplers as a replacement for the tab-couplers featured on earlier equipment. The link provided an automatic coupling capability, whereas the tab-coupler required manual connection. The black trucks gave a bit more "realism" to the car's appearance.
