Featured in a previous auction at SeriousToyz -
Lot of 3 Tin Early Marx Train Freight Cars w/ 'Joy Line' couplers, c. 1931, Marx, all are tin litho: "Caboose" #694 (C8), "Gondola" #552 (C7), "Refrigerator Car" #91453 (C7.5), all show light playwear, still a nice early group

Nice...I wonder what they sold for?

What is a good resource for prewar Marx? Is there a Greenberg book out there that covers Marx production?

I'm sure there is, Paul, but I'm not a huge Greenberg's user.

I'll try to find out what they sold for.

Saw this set plus a non-working windup locomotive for about $75 at a flea market last month. Pretty bad condition, and I wasn't interested. I prefer the 8-wheel cars, I'm afraid.
